This new resource provides information for individuals and grantees interested in topics related to Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRC), a grant jointly sponsored by the Administration on Aging and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. It is our hope that this will a useful page and that you bookmark the site so that you may stay up-to-date with events, articles and answers to your frequently asked questions.
The ADRC Technical Assistance Exchange (ADRC-TAE) maintains a website that facilitates a state-to-state information exchange, including information on grantees, examples of resources from the field, and issue briefs on selected topics. Visit www.adrc-tae.org for a full list of resources and to sign up for their newsletter.

The 2008 ADRC National Meeting will be held at the Westin Waterfront in Boston, Massachusetts on October 1 and 2, 2008, immediately following the HCBS Conference. A Call for Presentation Proposals is now OPEN for online submission. If you can help other ADRC and Single Entry Point systems learn from your experience about how to offer information on long-term supports, streamline access to long term services and supports, or assist consumers by offering long-term support options counseling, please consider presenting! Submissions are due July 18, 2008.

Real Choice Systems Change and Aging and Disability Resource Center/Area Aging Grant Solicitation FY 2008
CMS has available approximately $8 million in funding to continue to support States' efforts to address complex issues in long-term care reform. In addition, CMS was also awarded $5 million for Aging and Disability Resource Center /Area Agencies on Aging grants. Applications are due no later than July 17, 2008. Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Readiness Assessment
This assessment is designed to assist organizations in evaluating their readiness to perform key functions of ADRCs. The online version provides users with immediate feedback and links to resources to help build needed capacity. Functional areas measured include:
- organization and governance
- personnel and training
- service delivery and operations
- outreach and marketing
- IT
- partnerships
- evaluation and monitoring.
