Summary

Nearly 1,300 colleagues joined the Administration on Aging’s Summit. This was a premiere opportunity for members of the National Aging Services Network to engage in an important dialogue on DHHS’ Choices for Independence initiative. Review the comments by HHS Secretary Mike Leavitt, Assistant Secretary Carbonell, Acting Administrator, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Leslie V. Norwalk. Also view presentation on long-term care and federal and state health policy.
